Steps:
- Find the Bottom: Before adjusting the float, you must first find the bottom, which is no different in wild fishing. Use a heavy lead or wrap lead tape around the lead seat. After casting it into the water, let the float stick out by one eye, and mark the water depth with a space bean.
- Set the Adjustment Mark: Pull down the float and trim the lead tape until the desired number of eyes of the float is exposed.
- Set the Fishing Mark: After hooking the bait, cast it into the water and adjust the float to the designated fishing mark. The fishing mark is usually higher than the adjustment mark, as wild fishing often uses a blunt fishing method.
Knowledge Expansion
Wild fishing refers to fishing in natural bodies of water, such as reservoirs and lakes. Because of the uncertainties involved, it is generally more difficult. To catch fish, you must create multiple feeding spots so that the fish gather more easily, thereby increasing the chances of catching them. Of course, when fishing, be sure to change spots if you haven’t caught anything in half an hour to an hour. Additionally, wild fishing is not about staying in one place but using a “walk-and-fish” method. Also, do not throw too much bait, as this will not keep the fish in the area.
