Rabbits like to eat at night, and during the day, they spend most of their time resting with their eyes closed, looking a bit sluggish. So, make sure to provide them with plenty of food and water in the evening. Also, rabbits are pretty timid, and their hearing is super sharp. If there’s a sudden noise around them, they can get easily startled. One important thing to note is that rabbits are solitary animals, so whether male or female, they should be kept in separate cages; otherwise, they’ll often fight and get hurt. Lastly, rabbits need to chew on things regularly to grind down their teeth; if they don’t, their teeth will keep growing and affect normal biting. So, prepare some hard pellet feed or things like branches and wooden sticks for them to gnaw on.
